What is the movie about?
The film is based on the event that took place on the morning of December 7th, 1941. You can check out a summary of the movie in our

Who stars in it?
The cast includes Ben Affleck, Josh
Harnett, Kate Beckinsale,
Cuba Gooding Jr. and Alec Baldwin among many
others that star in the film. You can learn more about the cast in our

Are the characters in the film based on real people?
Some of the characters in the film are in fact based on real people.
Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as Dorie Miller who was a heavyweight champ in his Navy fleet and ended up becoming a hero of the battleship West Virginia. You can find out more about him in the 'recruits' section of our site.
Alec Baldwin's character is also based on a real person. He stars as
Jimmy Doolittle who led a return attack on Tokyo that tragic morning at Pearl Harbor. You can also learn more about

Michael Bay is the Director of the film and
Jerry Bruckheimer is the Producer.
Randall Wallace also did the screenplay.
What is the movie rated?
The movie is rated 'PG-13'. That means that anyone under the age of 13 will need adult supervision to see the film. It is expected to have some mild violence.
How long is the film?
The total running length of the film is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
