May 26, 2000:
  M:I-2 has just gone into the record books with an opening day gross of $12.5 million, the fourth highest Wednesday opening ever for a film behind "Star Wars 1", "Independence Day" and  "Men in Black"!!
  The Spielberg-Dreamworks fansite received the news that there is a new "Chicken Run" trailer which is a spoof of "Mission: Impossible" What was it like? Read the description here.
  An IGN PS2 news story reports that Infogrames, the company responsible for the video game based on the first Mission: Impossible movie for Nintendo64 and PlayStation is in negotiations with Paramount Pictures to develop and release an M:I-2 game for multiple platforms, more specifically PlayStation2 and possibly PlayStation.  It is expected to ship Fall 2001.   Thanks to Matt for the game news.

May 25, 2000:
  All right!!  Mission: Impossible 2 is out in theatres since yesterday.  I haven't seen it yet because I live in Belgium ;-) but I heard and read that it is a "kick ass" action movie!!  Of course, it's directed by John Woo!!  Cinescape has posted a new review on M:I-2, it includes some spoilers so you are warned.  Click here to read the review.

May 20, 2000:
  This upcoming Monday (May 22), Tom Cruise will be on the Rosie O'Donnell Show to promote M:I-2.  The interview will last the full hour as Cruise will be her only guest.  The interview will be on location from the studio where the movie was filmed.  Thanks to Matt for the news.
  VG² Movies went to the M:I-2 Premiere in L.A at the Mann Chinese Theater. They have M:I-2 Review and MI2 Premiere Photos!   Check it out!!

May 18, 2000:
  Tom Cruise will be promoting M:I-2 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, 11:35 p.m eastern. And on sunday at 5:00 p.m eastern TBS is showing an exclusive program called "Cruise Control".

  Here's some M:I-2 promoting news.  Tom Cruise and John Woo are planning to go to Tokyo on June 6 for promoting M:I-2, off course.  They will join a press conference and the M:I-2 premiere in Tokyo.  The film will be released in Japan early June.  Thanks to Ajyuli for the news.
